In response to the growing demand for secure and simpler browser, Google is about to release their browser dubbed as Chrome, though the beta version is yet to be released. According to Google, this browser can support a range of tasks that most browsers today cannot handle.

Chrome has plenty of features to look forward. One of these is tabs placed on top of the browser. Each tab will work independently from one another and will not affect the overall performance of the browser, thus making tabbed browsing more stable. The browsers default home page will contain a number of the most visited sites of the user.

The browser will also have the Omnibox, a less invasive and auto complete version of this URL box that can search stuffs and propose sites.

Incognito mode will also be made available in Chrome, just like Internet Explorer 8s InPrivate mode. The said function will be done in another browser and will not maintain any browsing history, thus making the browsing experience more private.

Other features included in Chrome are improved management and monitoring of third party plug-ins and malware detection on spurious sites.

On the other hand, Google is also developing software called Gears that will enhance the performance of previous browsers. In relation to Googles job to create better browsing experience to the users, Gears and Chromes source code will be made available for anyone who wishes to edit the mentioned programs.

Based on the enumerated features and since Google has the technical knowledge skills to create good technologies, Chrome seems to be the browser to watch out for.
